Aircraft Spirals Wildly into Palm Fronds at Frequented Southern California Coast
A helicopter soaring near a crowded California coastline unexpectedly began spiraling out of control, finally losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers observed.
Videos shared online depict the helicopter beginning to twirl above the shoreline then descending in the direction of the border of the coast, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a steps close to the Pacific Coast highway.

The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
