Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unnamed āfemalesā were recorded among the travelers flying to and from the UK. Significantly, 15 of these flights involving the UK occurred subsequent to Epsteinās 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a minor.
āIt was āappallingā that there had never been a āfull-scale UK investigationā into his operations in the country,ā stated American attorneys representing numerous Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Court Cases
Testimony from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epsteinās accomplice socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that survivor has never been contacted by UK authorities, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the London's Metropolitan Police indicated they had ānot received any additional information that would support restarting the investigation.ā They commented, āIf new and relevant information be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the release of documents in the US, we will assess it.ā
Ongoing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions
Proposed legislation to disclose all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of files are projected to be made public.
In a related development, a federal judge ruled last week that the department could publicly release case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epsteinās close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
